As the founder and Editor-in-Chief of The You Are Project, I took a step back to study leadership and answer the burning question, “How can I create an actual change in the world around me?”
Since I was a child, I’ve been passionate about publications and writing. I wrote and compiled newspapers, magazines, comic books, catalogs, and storybooks. I love writing, but I was always especially excited at the idea of having my own platform. At twelve, this led me to wanting my own website, so I taught myself web design and launched a fan site for my favorite actress at the time. As an adult, I put these skills to use when I launched The You Are Project.
Despite my digital experience, I’ve never lost my passion for print. There’s something special about holding a beautiful designed publication in your hand, and I will forever advocate for the power of print.
